Puerto de la Cruz

Located on the opposite coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, its agreeable climate year round, together with the great variety and striking beauty of its coastal and agricultural landscapes, have made it one of the most important tourist centres on the island and of all Spain, even though it is the municipality of less surface area in Tenerife and in the archipelago. Its visitors can choose from a personalised tourist and cultural offer, where the Lago Martiánez complex is notable, as well as the Botanical Gardens, Loro Park with all its facilities and Jardín Beach.

Its population is largely related to the services sector, although a small portion is dedicated to the banana plantations.
